How to Uninstall Better Discord
There are several ways how you can remove better Discord. But in some cases, if you find difficulty or some kind of issue with the method of uninstalling better Discord, try out a different method.
Windows
App data method
- Press the “Windows” key and “R” key afterward to open the Run promp
- type in””AppData%.”
- Press “Enter”
- Roaming folder should open, find “BetterDiscord” folder
- Right-click on that folder and click on “Delete”
- Open the Run prompt again
- Type in “%localappdata%” and hit “Enter”
- The local folder should open up. Search for the “BetterDiscord” folder again. Right-click on the folder and click on delete
Remove programs
- Click on Windows in the upper left corner of the screen on the windows button
- Click on “Settings”
- Click on “Apps”
- Click on the “Search” button
- Type in “BetterDiscord”
- Click on the “Uninstall” button next to the Better Discord app search result
- Click on the “Ok” button to continue with uninstallation of BetterDiscord
- Wait for the “Uninstaller” to finish the process.
Congratulations, you have just removed BetterDiscord from your computer.
Mac Guide
- Click on the Finder icon
- Click on “Applications” and search for “Discord” app and right-click on it
- A pop-up menu will show up, right-click on the “Move to Trash” option
- This will uninstall Discord with BetterDiscord modification from your Mac computer
- After the complete uninstall of Discord. Click here to download the latest Discord app
- After download, click on the Discord app to install. Once the installation is done, log in to your Discord without BetterDiscord modification
